Newbie, 1st time tour,... great website
Hi to all you hotrodders, and customizers. I got the bug for cars from my dad, he taught me all I know about muscle cars, streetrods, hotrods you name it. Cars are so darn expensive these days I thought I could never afford one!! Till my day came, like a story tale there she was all stuffed up in a 95 year old farmers barn. A 1953 Chevrolet 210 deluxe. It's a 210 2-door post with all the chrome trim. Not sure about the deluxe part but I know its not a belair. Anyways, I got her for a song its all STOCK, the only minor detail is the driver floor pan needs to be replaced, but can be lived with. The owner bought it for his wife, unfortunately she has passed away and he was selling everything, I don't think he wanted to see the car go, but he saw the look in my eye that I was going to give her a good home and a life full of car shows. When I'm not working on the car I hope to get some good info from this great website!! Nice to meet you.

My first car was a '53 chevy 2-door sedan! The year was '64.
It's the first car I rebuilt an engine in, the first car I painted, the first car I blew transmissions out of, and first car I got......
.................well, never mind about that. :-)~
