    1938 Dodge 2-Door Touring

I have had this Canadain-built car for about 4 years, now. While it is a fun car to drive around, I am ready to modernize. More reliable power, ac, tunes, well... I would likew some imput from some others out there who have experience, I don't want to go the trial-and-error route. Chassis modification to disc brakes, power that will fit without tearing things up and so on. I have had restored cars over the course of my whole life (my own work) but I have always envied the faster hotter painted sassy sounding rods passing me by. I am ready for any and all imput.
    Thanks!

Check out some of the new mustang II kits that just bolt in. There are a number of parts available that you don't have to do extreme modifications to make fit. You can concider a good V-6 that would proable fit without cutting the firewall and nearly put the same power as a stock V-8

If it were mine I'd look for a donor vehicle and stay all Mopar.

Drive a Mustang II or a Pinto before you go that route. They are an ill-handling little pig on bad roads. Put a heavy V-8 on top of it, and it ain't pretty. If you're going to drive it on dirt or gravel roads at all, get something better. Even a Volare setup is better, and narrow enough for your '38.
