Welcome to the show,,,,,The maverick shell and subframe assembley was used on other fords as well,so a lot of other fords will interchange,,,,i just need to hunt down the pages i had on it,,then i'll post.
In the mean time,,,,try searching for "ford disc brake conversions" and it will lead you to some interesting info on the Maverick chassy's etc.

Welcome, Maverick. I have had a few of the old Mav's. They are a fairly light car, and with a bit of horsepower will run strong. Had one genuine Grabber GT, it was a 74. Really had fun with the car. Post us a pic or two of your '71. Sounds like a fun project to take on !!!

There are many places that carry 14" rims it just depends on what you are looking for. Here is one place I found doing a quick search. https://www.newstalgiawheel.com
    Here is another place http://www.akhwheels.com/pages/inventory.php?cat=4

Ok,,,from what i can see on the net,,,it seems that the Maverick shares a lineage with the old Falcons 1962 etc,,so i would begin my search for crossover parts there.
