    Hello, a little late

I guess I did this a little backwards... Should have hit this area first. I appreciate all the help and good info in this forum, I have used it for a while as a reference but finally started posting last week.

My project is a red 1985 CJ-7 that I have owned for nearly 5 years. While not as cool as many of the hot rods I see on this site, I have put a lot of effort into tweaking it since purchase.

In addition to a lot of suspension and component upgrades, I pulled out the stock inline 6 and dropped in a SBC 350 that I rebuilt from the ground up. Needless to say, it has a little more umph than it had before (I have been through two driveshafts since dropping it in...).

I do have a couple of forum technical questions, I have tried to upload a couple of pictures but they seem to disappear the day after I load them. Do you have to have special permission to do that?

Also, I have tried to paste images into my posts but that does not seem to work either. Is there a special technique that works to do that?

Anyway, I enjoy this site and will try to help with some of the lessons I have learned in my tinkering.

Don't apologize! Jeeps can be cool, too. This one belonged to a customer, and had a tunnelram 350.

Not sure why pics are doing that but anyways, welcome to CHR! My father and I LOVE CJ-7's and CJ-5's. 7's are a bit wider and look better IMO. I bet that thing hauls some butt with a 350.
