New girl in town
Hey folks! Obviously Im new here, but not new to cars or car forums. But I wanted to give yall a quick intro.
From Kentucky, and I'm currently working on a 58 Chevy Apache and an 79 Camaro. I do wrench on my own rides, and yes, I am a *gasp* girl ;]

If you need any parts let me know. Friend of mine is parting out a '58 to get the pieces he needs for his '59. Should have lots of goodies left over.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Welcome Red. The other women who contribute their views and questions here really do add a lot to the general culture of the site. Is the color of your truck "bluecherrie" a special paint or was it an optional factory color? I am not sure I would pick that color but with a lady driving it would make sense. Back in the '50s I knew a guy who installed an Olds V8 in a '40 Plymouth convertible (not an easy swap) and had a paint shop whip up a special color he called "Hot Rod Fuschia", but it was a lighter shade than your truck, his color was closer to "orchid" but anyway it was a real performer with a fancy color.
