Hello, I'm new here and am wondering if anyone has insights on the workings of our newest toy, '68 galaxie xl. My hubby traded a Bronco for it 2 months ago. We have ordered a catalog from Dearborn Classics and patiently await it's arrival. In the mean time we are learning as we go. Our latest search has been the fuse panel. Odd place in the glovebox. The wipers have quit working and at this moment he's tracking down the power trail.
So if there is someone we can bug once in awhile about where and why it would be a help. We like doing modifies and are not afraid of change,in fact it already got new power when the gauges didn't give good readings . The original engine was not there anyway and we had a newly rebuilt 302 in another car.
The car itself is in good condition,the seats are ok except for the driver side.The hood has the most damage, looks like someone dropped it , the back corners are bent.All the trimm was in the trunk.Only minor bumps any where else, but they will be easliy fixed.
Any web sites on originality will be helpful too.
