New to this site
Hi,
I am new to this site and it looks like it has enough experianced people to fill a full set of encyclopedias.........>
I have a 55 ford 2 dr wagon and have been working on it faithfully for over a year, in that time I have converted to the Granada front dsc brakes, power brake booster.replaced inner and outer rocker panels, fabricated the entire passenger compartment floor panels as they were rusted out, the old FE motor and FMX were junk so I am planning to convert to the 5.0 EFI & AOD, I Scaveneged, all the parts from the parts car.
I went to a local auction and found a 86 Mercury Grand Marquis Park lane wagon for $275.00 It runs so good and the body is perfect and every thing power works drives nice kinda hate to rip it apart
I am hoping in about 2 more years I will have it looking as sweet as the rods I see here.
I have been told that it will be a sweet conversion being I have the whole donor car to change every thing over to the 55 I want to paint it a color called "Black Cherry" but that is waaaaaaaaaay down the road.
Well I hope I haven't bored but this is my first attempt at building a classic "Sleeper" with the classic "Ford Growl"
Seems like every time I work on it it demands at least 1/2 pint of blood :
All I need to get started is a accurate wiring diagram now where can I get a free down load for a 86 Mercury wagon?
Thanks,
55 Ford 2 dr
