Another new guy from Washington
I have been building cars all of my life and retired a few months ago. We have several Model A's (I posted pictures of two of them), 47 Chev and a 36 Chev Pickup.
I also belong to several metalshaping groups.

Welcome to CHR Larry, that's a couple of very nice cars in your gallery!!! Didn't know anybody still used the B motors, got some pics and details on them????
Both of these cars I bought in California in July. Each have engines with inserted rods and mains, Winfield cam, full pressure oiling, Cragar OHV heads, dual carbs, 39 trans', 40 Ford brakes, 56 Ford steering, and Columbia rear-ends.
The 29 pickup has Ross pistons, Carrillo aluminum rods, an alumium flywheel, 460 Ford oil pump, Zepher gears in the trans, 444 rear end gears, Cragar cross-flow head and has gone 79.75 in the quarter mile at Palmdale.
The coupe is a very nice driver with 378 rear end and mildly hopped up engine.
I'll try to get some more pictures posted.Last edited by drec; 12-26-2005 at 01:45 AM.

If you are into metalshaping, at all, check out each group (metalshapers.org and metalmeet.com). MetalMeet seems to be more active and has more members.
