    new to site

Some one from another forum referred to this site. I thought I would check it out. Usually do things like that at lunch time at work. I have '37 Chevy coupe street rod that has been on the road for over 20 years. I like to hear other guys stories and I might learn something. My car was homebuilt and not high dollar but I like to drive it!

Sorry hotrod37. We only accept people on this forum with a Coddington or Foose built car.

    JUST KIDDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome. This IS a good forum. I have only been frequenting it for about 6 months, but have learned a lot, and have cyberly met some very nice people.

A warning though. It is so addictive you won't actually WORK on a car again, you will just BS about them.

Please post some pictures of your rod. We LOVE pictures.

Also, don't be shy about chiming in on any subject. There are no rights and wrongs here, just opinions.

    Don

I don't even like chebbies, but you're still more than welcome to join us!!!! Post us some pics of the '37, sounds like a nice car, especially seeing as how it's home built and not built with a check book!!!!!!!!

I will try to add a picture to this post. My car has a 400" small block, with a 350 turbo, and Nova rear. I have a dropped axle with '54 Chevy brakes. Car was built about 20 years ago and the paint is starting to crack and peel (lacquer). It has been a good one. Updats will have to wait until the last kid is out of college.

Don't mind Dave, he can't help it. He's from So. Dakota!! And he had a Ford oval branded on his butt as a babe.

    Welcome aboard.

Nice looking 37 and the paint looks good for 20 years. Us cheby guys have to keep the ford guys in line. We all know the SBC is much better(I can hear this now) than a SBF. Not to discredit any of you ford owners out there, the only ford engine I liked was the flattie, which was probably the most used from 32 -53. They did have there problems but were still using and engine that was built over 60 years ago so to the flattie engine I say alright

Welcome to the Forum HotRod37. That's a great looking ride. We like the home built guys around here because they always seem to come up with clever ways to do things. They also have banged their finger with a hammer enough times to have some patience and a sense of humor! I bet that Chevy is fun to drive and gets plenty of looks.

Hope you will join in often
