    Cool Howdy

I''m really happy to have found this site, looks like a great one. I am returning to the car scene after about a 17 year break. Got busy bass fishing for a while, but the car bug has struck again and we just got the dream car of my teenage years, a 1953 Studebaker. It's not a racer like my old cars were, but a great cruizer. By the way my handle "Stu Cool" refers to the car! The personal plate is on order. Have a good one

Pat, welcome to CHR. My wife and I saw your car at the 02 Good Guys run at PPIR in Colorado. Great car all around, inside and out. My heart has been with Studebakers for some years now and am on my 3rd build, 53 Starliner.

    Thanks Dean,

This car has been a bit of a nomad lately. I purchased it from a fellow in Texas, who bought it on Oct 02 from a fellow in Colorado. He was probably the owner when you saw it. I am trying to trace more of the history of the car. It has found a permanent home for a long time now. My very first car at the age of 18 was a '53 Studebaker. I never got that one running before going into the Air Force in 1968. Finally the circle is complete! I am having a ball with it so far. Good luck with your project.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!
