    new guy

    Hey, I'm new to this.

I'm building at 27 Ford T, pretty standard stuff. I also have a 57 chevy sedan i'm working on. I've got a 427 for it but i was thinking of looking for a 409 for it instead. any ideas??

I live in BC canada, currently just in college. there isn't really any more to my story cept i'm also 18 and have been working on my cars since 14.

I guess it's just me, but I'd be looking for a small block 400 for it before I'd go lookin' for a 409.

Other then aesthetics, the 409's aren't really that great of an engine. Lots of better stuff out there for lots less $$$$ ....

Anywho, have fun with the projects, and welcome to CHR !!

well i was thinkin of more a peroid piece than anything else. Yes i love the looks of the 409, no i have a stout small block in my model T. i'm bored of the common small blocks 350, 383, 400

however nice try, meanwhile if i wanted all out performance i have many other motors to select from.
