Obligatory intro... with pics
Names Tim, I'm 28, Hot rodding is a family thing for me. I Spend almost every weekend out in the garage or tooling around in a rod with my Dad or my boy.
Heres a few pics of the 52 GMC we built 3 years ago. Right now I'm just getting it ready to go back on the road after a few updates. Redid the .406 and bumped the compression, new rotating assembly, heads, cam, tunnel ram... Also just put on the 15x4 Radir tri-ribs and 1" white walls.
The .406 is backed by a built TH350 and Chevy 4.11:1 posi with 20" Pro-Tracs on 15" steelies.
Coke cooler is the bat. box.

Hers the last one we did. It is now sold.
28-29 cowl on a 30-31 frame, homade body, cut down Stude bed, 40 Ford front, split bones, 9" rear, Edsel E-475 power...
In this shot it was still the 30-31 cowl we started with at first.

What are you trying to do, corrupt that Boy of yours into liking cars, or something??? Start 'em young, huh??? (So did I, you'll never regret it)
Nice looking rides. I'm saving a '29 cowl and 4 Murray doors for the same kind of RP you built, Where did you get those cool seats?
Have fun, guy, and welcome.

Actually there is a funny story that goes with the seats. We were waiting and waiting for them to come and getting really annoyed to say the least. We kept e-mailing and he kept saying that they had been shipped.
Well, it turns out the company logo is a skull and crossbones and U.P.S. had it sitting in the terminal and wouldn't ship it! They thought it was hazardous!
How much did Santa have to pay for his sleigh? Nothing! It's on the house! .
