Just saying hello.
Hello. I`m a 23 year old boy from Norway. I have been visiting this site the last two years and thought i might as well join in on the fun. My toys are a 79Caprice Coupé and a 74Firebird Formula 400. I dont know much about anything, but my cars have been trubblesome so I know a little bit of something anyway. Later on tonight im going to the 4th of July cruise, we are expecting 3000 cars Bigest cruise of the year over here.

Welcome to CHR, Ian. Always good to have another member from the "home country". My great-grandparents came to South Dakota from Norway... Would like to visit there myself someday, just wish they would build a bridge so I could drive a Hot Rod there!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thank you! Yes, a bridge would be good, you might consider bringing a tanker with fuel along with you. Over here petrol costs 7,2 dollar a gallon I won`t even mention how much racing-fuel is But if you manage to look past that it`s a lovely country and well worth a visit!

Hi Ian, welcome. Nice to see you finally took the plunge and joined in on the fun.
I am really amazed when you mention going to a 4th of July cruise in NORWAY. I think of this as a strictly American holiday, and didn't know other places thought of it as anything other than another day. Cool.
Wow, over $ 7.00 a gal for gas. George Bush must be drooling, trying to figure how to get ours that high. (sorry for the personal/political shot at George )
I'm also amazed about the 3000 car turnout thing. Unbelievable.

Have never tried posting images before, so it might not work. Yesterday was greate, but felt more like parking in the street than cruising, the roads were full. On the news they said it was the worlds largest AmCar gathering OUTSIDE the US Still I dont think there were as many cars as predicted. All in all a greate night.

Ian: Try this to post. After you put in your text, go to the section below that says "manage attachments", click on that. It will open up a box that has "brouse", click on that. Find the picture you want to post (you do one at a time, and can do only 5 per post) Click on the picture you want to select it. Then click on "open". Another box will open up, click on "upload." The picture will post to your reply, and the "brouse" window will be cleared, so you can repeat the process up to the 5 time limit. When you have the pictures you want to post done, close out that box, then simply click on "submit reply" and you should be done.
Hope this helps, I really want to see your pix.

Other than the street signs, it looks like those photos could have been taken at a show here in the US... Looks like lots of American iron over there...
Welcome to CHR...
