    Finally bit the bullet...

I have wanted a classic car for many years...since I was a teenager. So last week, I found and bought a 34 Ford Pickup. Here's why...

I was in California a couple months ago, and stopped by Wayne Gretzky's new bar in Westlake Village. As I walked up front, there it was......a rat rod 34 truck. My brain melted. Primer gray, red spoked rims, no wood in the bed, no engine covers, Whitewalls, and very very simple interior. Ok, this was it.

So my plan is somewhat on the same lines, but a little more intricate. I want to put a flathead in it, but that's down the line. Also, a nice wood bed would be nice in order to hide a Jag rear end (cant be a ratrod with that showing)...ect ect.

Now all I have to do is get this baby from Illinois to Washington state. a whole 2100 miles.....and still no idea how I'm going to go about it.

Anyone have an idea what car transport concept is the best, as far as cash goes? I have lots of time off, so that's never a problem.

    Brad

Contact Mike (don't know his last name) 360-387-2752, he's on Camano Is. He hauls old cars from that part of the country on a regular basis.

Another guy is George Marshall H-541-912-2829, C-541-863-7977, he's out of the Portland area, but is an active hauler to this area.
