glad to be here. anyone ever chop the top on a 55 chevy pickup? well any way ive been working on this old truck for a long time now. its got a 78 t/a clip 'home built rear clip of 2x3 rectangular tubing. the firewall has been set back 4 1/2' in the center with a trans tunnel .i fab front and rear roll pan also. the rear end is out of an s-10. there is an 81 350 with an 84 700r4 behind it. the truck was pretty solid when i got it. the cab is a big back window. the vent wings have been eliminated for one piece glass in the doors.will post pics soon.Last edited by hotrod barn; 10-26-2006 at 06:25 PM.

my biggest concern is cutting the glass. ive heard you can use a sand blaster to cut it, but i'm not sure how. will get pics in a few days

something I had not heard of before is to have the glass standing up when working on it: ie sandblasting or cutting. But then I may be the only person who didn`t know that good luck brian
