new guy from Oklahoma
Hi gang,
I am new to the Club. I have a new web site, www.okieguys.com, and a new car project, a 1931 Chevy 2-door sedan upgrade. I like the looks of the original wire wheels and stock look of the vehicle, but want to modernize the drive train and under carriage. Please check out my web site and view the Project car, lots of pictures and rambling text. Would love to hear of any ideas or criticisms. Please reply through forum or directly with me at "RMason405@cox.net".

Welcome to the forum, and I love your collection. So, you have Ebay-itis too? I understand only too well, and they have removed the Ebay button from my computer to keep me from bidding on any more stuff.
Enjoy your retirement, and this forum. You guys seem to be fun, so you will fit in here well.

Welcome to CHR
I realy enjoyed looking over your site. There is a lot of good craftsman ship going om there. Though I haven't finished seeing it all I do like the fact that you employ child labor. That is somthing they will remember for life as I do working with my dad and grandfather. Pictures is somthing we all enjoy and projects with pictures is even better.
Thanks CharlieCharlie

child labor
Charlie,
Thanks for looking. As for employing child labor, my grandson is actually employing old folks. He sometimes makes me work until 3 AM. I beg him, "Please let grandpa go to bed!". He's a born hot rodder.

Welcome to CHR. You have a great site and some really sweet cars. The airplanes are pretty cool too. I really got a kick out of the pictures of your grandchildren in "their" cars.... and the fact that the one grandson wanted to fly the RC inverted.... As cffisher said, the time they get to spend with you is something they will remember for a lifetime. I know that my grandfather had an extremely profound effect on my life.
Anyway, like I said before welcome aboard.
Cheers,
DutchSometimes NOW are the "good old days"...

Thanks Dutch,
CHR is a super club and seems to be stocked with a bunch of great guys. I am a neophyte mechanic and will need some serious help with some technical issues. I am considering adding a "questions" page to my web site. I would appreciate some of you experienced gentlemen checking in from time to time and give me some advice.
