Thread: going from the netherland to florida in 2007

hello we are planning a holiday to florida in april 2007.

we go to the spring nationals 20-21-22 april.

before that we are a week at orlando

en after the weekend we are one week in daytona beach.

are there some events or cruise that we can vitis that time.

Will you be visiting Mickey Mouse while in Orlando? If so, Disney has many different segments to it. Be sure to catch shows like the Lion King, etc. We went because my Girlfriends Daughter dances in that show, and ended up seeing it 3 times that day, and I loved each performance as much as she did.

Are you traveling with just adults, or are children going to be with you? That will sort of dictate what you will want to do.

Cape Canaveral is another interesting place to visit, and within striking distance of Orlando.

While in Daytona you may want to visit St. Augustine, oldest US city. Very quaint and the visit to the fort is entertaining. Nice little restaurants in the heart of Old St Augustine that go back hundereds of years.

2 years ago we went to disney en to the Southeast Street Rod Nationals (tampa)

and oldtown on the saterday cruise.

we are gone do also in 2007 the disney park.

but i want to see more hotrods.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Well, you have been to Oldtown and Tampa, and this will be in April. I can't think of any more events that are taking place at that time in this area. It isn't like these happen all the time, unfortunately. There will be local cruises, and probably some of our Orlando/ Daytona area members might have some insight into those, and maybe even some bigger events, but I am coming up empty. Sorry.
