Ehhh--Hemm, A little bit about this guy
I live in Beautiful British Columbia, or at least thats what my license plate says. I am a rail-roader by day, an amateur stock car racer by night. I am currently rodding my '32 Ford Pick-Up, I have plans for a completely main stream look. You know MT 33x21.5 Sportsmans out back, bicycle tires up front, and if I can afford it, the truck will get my newly acquired 409. (Which needs a complete rebuild). Well OK its not the mainstream look but I don't care its what I got, and I like the nostalgia style rods.
My driver is a '82 S-10 355, 700r4, a wild paint job, and a comfy interior. Its just a cruiser, not perfect but it was my first try at a HotRod. I also have a 1970 Caddy Coupe DeVille that will be ready in the spring. Basically stock, except for lowered, wires, and a custom paint job. I'm hoping to drive the Aptly (sp?) named "DiscoSled" Next year.
I know, I know they're not all rods but I like 'em so much I just had to tell ya about them. I have been a member of another site for a few years and just got sick of all the fighting amongst themselves, so here I am.

Yeah I just gotta find 'em. I just got a new computer sooo, all my old pics are on the old computer. Its basically just a pile of parts. Cab, box, front fenders (not here yet) frame. I have lots of the parts but have yet to really get into starting because of a busy schedule. I'm in the collecting stage (or thats my excuse for not starting yet anyways). Need a narrowed rear end, drop axle, just so I can make it a rolling chassis.
I go take a pic here this weekend when I get home, but I'm warning you its nothin special.

Welcome bonuts...I'm just down the map from ya..well...depending on which part of B.C. your in....A "409" huh.?/....Had "348s" but never landed it's big brother...Local school district had two busses with "409s" that went up for auction a while back...I went thinking I might score but the guys in the know with mass $$$$ ..wanted and got them....Oh.well.....One tough engne........ Oh.Oh.!! . Just crossed my mind..you know ya can't use a regular ring compressor on the 348 or 409 because of the cylinder head deck angle.?.....Just something I know......Al......The cylinders have to be inline.!!!
