    Hiya Southerner,

I have'nt been able to get on this site for about 4 or 5 days as I kept getting a technical error message and some of the posts you put up have gone as well? I also can't see the post from Techinspector1 either?

    Who knows what happened??

Your 383 sounds nice, a good combo the holden engine, our stroker engine lifted quite a few eyebrows when they found out it was an early headed engine and not VN headed. We wanted to prove a point that early headed's are just as good as VN heads!

Lots of people asked us where the nos bottle was and got a shock when they saw it did'nt run one!

    Click on this link http://www.c31.org.au/tvnow.php

and select the Rodder's Life icon and you can view an episode of the show that I work on, Triangle TV is supposed to be airing the show on their network, that is why I asked if you get triangle where you live?

Have a look and let me know what you think? Our website is www.rodderslife.com.au.

    Cheers,

    Mrs Mopar

We all had that problem , some of us found it hard doing cold turkey....BANG, just like that without warning. There was an interim period where things went a bit weird for a while befor it all fell apart. But cannot recall which posts went zilch.

The experts are putting it down at server problems.

The 383 is coming along.... I just dropped off 3 4 bolt blocks and 1 x 2 bolt block to my favourite machinist.

Nothing wrong with those early red heads....have had a few people come up and say "bet you have fooled a few people with that"

Show is taking a while to load up

Here is a link to that Holden ute, same as mine, but his rebuild looks fairly mild to my major tear down

    Have a look at www.cardomain.com/ride2080747

Do you chat ? there is a chat room at the sister site www.carandenthusiast.com then go to chatroom button at the top right corner.

    Hiya Southerner,

The episodes change every week, so there is always something new!

I handle the promotions, sponsors, advertising, rod runs, selling of DVD's and T shirts and every month I interview a woman in motorsport or the car scene which is aired once a month, I also go to Rod Runs and roam around with the Microphone interviewing people and asking questions about their rides, this is fun, but I am buggered by the end of the day, walking and talking, talking and walking! But I would'nt have it any other way!

I try to add the female side of what its like to be in the car scene!

Sounds serious, dropping off stuff to the machinist! I get to see my partly finished engine next week, I am starting to get really itchy, just can't wait to get in and do a transbrake launch off the limiter...... oh yeah!

When will you have your block back??

    Cheers,

2 days to get them back. This guy really knows his stuff. Accurate machining and he does a lot of the engine machining work for a few well known engine builders. Heres a trick I used to do with the Holden 308's back before we could get stroker cranks.

Get chevy 327 pistons .030 over get the chevy small journal rods ofset grind the Holden crank to get your stroker....Took it out to 318 cubes,.....Not much sizewise, but man could it REV !!
