Not new but never posted
Hi,
I've been a member here for a while but have never posted. In fact I had completely lost track of this site until I got a message yesterday that it was back up and running. I'm glad that I was reminded because this is a great site.
My name is Walt, I'm older than dirt, and have been into Hotrods my whole life. I drive a blown 2 liter VW powered T bucket which is one of Andy Brizio's Instant T's from the 60's. I restored and up-graded it in 2001 and it's been a daily driver ever since. Currently I am in the process of building a Mid-engine Porche powered 34 Ford pickup for my son. I built the truck in 18 months and it has been stalled in the body/paint shop now for 8 months. The waiting is driving me crazy.
Here is a picture of the truck just before it went out to paint.
I'll see you guys and gals on the board.

Hey Walt,
Your truck has been talked about a couple times in years past on here. I posted the picture below 2 or 3 years ago that I got from someplace, but with some of the server crashes, even if I could find the old threads, the pic would probably be gone anyway. So here it is again.
I would encourage you to post up some in process pics in the gallery section linked to the camera icon under your name, folks would enjoy it.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Hi Walt, I believe I've seen your Volksrod at the Sacramento Bug-O-Rama car show. It's a very nice car and truely a piece of Hot Rod history.
My son and I run a 1960 Volkswagen drag car in the 11.90 index Super Gas class and attend the Sacramento race twice each year.
