New from louisville, ky
Hey all. I'm new here. I just picked up a 83 chevy malibu wagon, about a month ago. The car was originally a v6 car and the previous owner swapped in a 267ci v8. The motor has a set of headers, edelbrock 4bbl intake, carter qjet, "350 heads" (this is what he told me, wasn't sure if they are different than the 267 heads), unknown cam...he said " a step up from stock". I'm purchasing a better 350 to swap in later on, but for now, its my daily driver. Looking forward to being a part of the site.

Definitely go with the larger choice. The 350 heads on the 267 is actually a step back in most cases. I used to have one of those wagons and it was like a whole new universe when the 355 went it. Keep it simple, plan well, and you'll be happier.Last edited by nitrowarrior; 06-10-2007 at 02:26 PM.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

The body is very solid...interior isn't too bad either. It has a set of gmc sonoma wheels on it. The body is good enough for me right now. I'm just ready to put my new motor in.
How much did Santa have to pay for his sleigh? Nothing! It's on the house! .
