    New from louisville, ky

Hey all. I'm new here. I just picked up a 83 chevy malibu wagon, about a month ago. The car was originally a v6 car and the previous owner swapped in a 267ci v8. The motor has a set of headers, edelbrock 4bbl intake, carter qjet, "350 heads" (this is what he told me, wasn't sure if they are different than the 267 heads), unknown cam...he said " a step up from stock". I'm purchasing a better 350 to swap in later on, but for now, its my daily driver. Looking forward to being a part of the site.

Definitely go with the larger choice. The 350 heads on the 267 is actually a step back in most cases. I used to have one of those wagons and it was like a whole new universe when the 355 went it. Keep it simple, plan well, and you'll be happier.

What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

From what I have read on here so far, it sounds like one of the best ideas i've ever had.

The body is very solid...interior isn't too bad either. It has a set of gmc sonoma wheels on it. The body is good enough for me right now. I'm just ready to put my new motor in.
