    New guy from Houston.

Hi, I'm Richard. I have a few projects (all Chevys) and not enough time and dough. I've been thinking about consolidating and getting just one. I've taken notice to rat rod trucks and have considered building one. Right now I have a '51 and '71 truck and a '78 Malibu. I've thought about getting rid of the Malibu in favor of the '51 but I feel I can't cut loose of the '71. I do like the fenderless look of the rat rod trucks so I'm thinking of not doing the '51 either.

I'm going to look at a couple early 40's ford trucks this weekend and go from there.

    Thanks for reading.

Welcome Richard! Houston is kind of a second home for me, whereabouts you live in the city?

I'm not a big rat rod fan, but anyway don't let lack of time and money be your reason for settling for some rat when what you really want is something else.... There is no law that says every project has to be done in under 12 months!!! But if a rat is what you really want, then build it....

Welcome Richard - I also live in the Houston area - east of Magnolia on FM1488. Let me know if you ever need an extra set of hands.

I'll be attempting to repair a radiator leak this weekend. I believe its a tank seam leak. If I don't succeed, I'm ordering a new aluminum replacement from Jegs.

I live on the NW side near Spring. I'm thinking of more of the '51 now. It's my Dad's old truck would like for him to ride in it again.

    Here's my stuff.
