TnX Dave! I have plans First of all, this 1.2 liter engine will be history. New will be 2.0 liter twin cam 16 valves Fiat engine. And, for my pleasure double horizantal Weber carburetors. Of course, new brake system and suspension
Styling, hm, can decide yet Main problem is, everybody using polyester, plastic. My Lada is classic car and there is no room for plastic. Custom chrome bumpers, etc, no one want to build them So, i'm on my own.

Alex, Welcome to CHR! Thanks for loading pix of your car. Looks pretty nice to me. Looks like a Russian made Fiat 128 wagon. I used to own a Fiat 124 Spyder and a Fiat Dino. Both were good cars, very good engines, put parts reliability always a downside.

Hope you enjoy your stay, and your English is as good as some of the home grown types that sometimes appear here.

I mean, ''barage'' in car world Nissan, BMW, Audi is destructed by hot rod barage. One of the reason why i love hot rods is actualy that 70 year ago these monsters are build by ordinary people. It's ugly, not ergonomic, but pleasyre to drive. Brand new sport car, totaly destructed in atoms from hot rod speed attack. That's i love it. I drive what u got, always can be build to eat rich children, and put under ours wheels. But, i see, hot rods are today expencive, with cool make up. Car doesn't need make up, need just Hemi with, hmmm, mopar parts! I'm so glad that we have clubs like this to safe hot rods real indetity.

That's what makes hot rodding so cool. Someone taking what others refer to as an ugly duckling and turning it into a thing of beauty.
