Gday from Australia
Gday people, well my names joe and im from Australia. So what am i doing here? Well i live in Sydney and drive a 1971 HQ 1 Tunna powered by a 1971 i think sbc 307 coupled to a 2 speed powerglide t400 and i have a couple of questions to ask so i joined up to see if anyone could help me out. Whats a 1 Tunna i here u ask well over here its just a nickname for a ute.

Isn't it Mid-Winter down there now? Hot as you know what here.
Do you also hang out at Ozrodders also? I am a member there along with several others. Got hooked up with them thru a guy from Sydney who owns a 38 Ford sloper. I really like the sloper looks, wish they had built them here.Bob

Hey Joe welcome,I figured you may also have to explain what a ute is but it seems not. As for vegemite,I am more of a marmite fan.

Gday fellas thanks for the replies. Ah Vegemite the national toast or bread spread, I think every aussie kid has grown up on the stuff, some like it spread on very lightly others like it about 1/2 inch thick, me ill take it anyway . What is it, basically a sticky mix of yeast, malt, salt and preservatives lol. Its alot like marmite except we think marmite tastes like the left overs of a two week old unrefrigerated curry. Blow by, beaut lookin car m8, you to mopar. I will post pics of the beast for you, i think you would really like the aussie ute. At the moment she is undergoing full resto, so i have before and during photos at the moment. As we speak the guards, radiator support have been trial fitted. Yes it is winter time here in Australia, and bloody cold to. We have had the best start to the ski season in 17years with a 1.36metre cover, our weather over hear has been quite strange lately but so is everywhere else. The main car website i post on is called oldholden.com.au. It is a dedicated Holden website for all Holdens pre 1985,models FX through to WB although the newer cars are sometimes dealt with

Got a bad case of gout a few years ago......I always had Vegemite on my toast for breakfast, and it was the Vegemite that was causing the gout.
