What's he asking for it???? If all the sheetmetal is there, should be worth any easy $500- $750... They sure do make a gorgeous rod, love those front ends!!!!!

A price on something like this is totally up to the buyer, In most cases the remainer would be hauled away for junk at the high scrap prices today.
It would be good if you could purchase the history-mobile and restore it.

    Good Luck,

As Uncle Bob often says, it takes both a seller and a buyer to set a price.

Free advice is to honestly assess what you would do if you had the sheetmetal.... what would you build with it and how much is your budget? Some people find a rare hubcap and fabricate a car around the single part....that sounds kinda like what you are facing... no window trim, no door handles, no small parts, etc. The people who start with the hubcap usually have very deep pockets and know the end value of their endeavour. You arent going to build a "slick" car without buying a lot of expensive parts. On the other hand, some folks find a body, and use it almost "as is" to fab a "rat" type car. If so, then the body may be useable.

Also, consider the car and the desirability of the thing. A '32 Ford three window body is pretty desirable just as a piece of sheet metal. A '32 Whatchamacallit is worth a fraction of the Ford...and it's still a '32! If I were going to build a Hudson hot rod, I'd start with the nicest car that I could find because it would be thousands of $$ cheaper!. A complete car is always going to be the cheaper build...
    period.

It would make a terrific hot rod. Really nice lines.
