Welcome,,,and those cars are great gasser cars. But be warned, this site has some guys that are big block only and others like myself that are 'nostalgic' small block lovers SOOOO,let me be the first to ask,why not a 327 in that Henry j?

Welcome to the forum Scott. Love them Henry J gassers. For me they rank right up there with the Willys for coolness.

    Yeah, we want pictures.

I personally wouldn't care if you put in a honda vtec,it's your car. Just take your time and build it safe. Good luck to you . Hank

Welcome to CHR, friend of mine ran a similar car back in the mid 60's, set up was similar to yours, but had an FE with a top loader for power. Good luck with the project and get those pics posted, really anxious to show them to my old pal Steve so he can suffer with some extreme nostalgic thoughts!!!!! The chebbie would work fine in it, especially if you already have one!!!

Welcome to the forum and as it's been said, post pictures when you get the opportunity.
Also, this weekend is the big swap meet in Springfield and you're not that far away. Just might find something for your build.
