Just discovered this site a few days ago and joined today. First off I'm a 18 year old in a 65 year old body. My current (and only) rod project is redoing my 34 3 window. I towed it home behind my brand new 66 GTO in 1966. Two years later my brother totaled the GTO so after buying the car back from my insurance Co. out came the sbc and in went the complete GTO running gear. Since moving to Wa. I let it deteriorate back to a basket case. For the last 2+ years I have been rebuilding it With a better knowledge and more and better tools than I had 40 + years ago. It still has the original 389 (rebuilt) but I will soon build up a 455 to replace it. Project completion (are they ever completed) is still a long ways off but getting there (wish I had Bill Gates' money). Anybody in this group in the Puget Sound area? Lets hear from you. Jack.
