Checking in from San Diego
Checking in from San Diego. Made several posts, but only two seem to show up. Anyone know why the other 3-4 never showed up?

Welcome aboard. Something is still occasionally goofing up on the site. Sometimes I can't log on and get a failed message. For the most part it is ok now though. Weekends seem to be when it goes down the most often.......maybe it is union or something.

Welcome to CHR!, Fastnuf. Nice screen name, but not true. Nothing is ever fast enough. That's like saying too much horsepower, or too much money.
As to disappearing posts, all sites have their gremlins, no different here. The other day I post a long response to a question over at another site, and pressed submit. When it cleared there it was right at the bottom. Went visiting elsewhere and when I returned it was gone. Still have no answer as to why.
But good thing is I have rarely had that happen here.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Welcome!
Nice Nova!
I had a '64 SS with a straight axle in early 70's, I've had few of them, my 1st one was a '62, in '69 or '70 that I put in a '67 corvette 327/4spd, quick for it's day. I was in 11th grade and drove it to school everday. I sold my '57 Chevy for it.
I like your thinking, I have always drove what I build, I drive all my cars/trucks everyday to work, I already have models on the shelf at home.
