Oklahoma Graybeard
Howdy, Some of you probably know me as George or G V Gordon over on the H.A.M.B.. I noticed this site mentioned over there and decided to check it out. Looks like a lot of good folks, a bit less drama which is fine, and a place I would like to visit from time to time.
Current rides are a '63 Grand Prix, lakes, 8 bolts, tired 389 and a 1927 T touring with a 348 Chevy W motor that I aquired in November.
My tastes tend to run toward sleds and early rods but if it's got wheels I enjoy looking at it.
I'm 59 years old so I bring a bit of perspective to the board having been around "back in the day"
I'll hang out and get the lay of the land for awhile, and post if I think I can contribute something worthwhile.

Welcome, George!
Plenty of good people here, some (like maybe me) have beards quite a bit grayer than yours!
I think you'll appreciate the friendliness and civility that exists among this gang of bona fide geezers.
Glad to have you.

Welcome George, I really like that Grand Prix!!!!! 59 is about the average age around here, nothing sez ya got to slow down just because you have high mileage!!!! (somehow high mileage sounds better then got old)Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Hey, George, I like your cars. As someone else said, there seems to be a lot of "greybeards" on this board, along with a bunch of kids, and the middle agers. Me? Folks mistake me for Santy Claus.

Welcome to CHR, George!! There are a lot of good people here as well as many graybeards, such as myself. Like yourself and quite a few others here, I'm a H.A.M.B. member as well , but they don't hold that against me and I am sure they won't hold it against you either.
I like both of your cars. I too favor the early rods, but like you have a later model (1957) as well. I used the same screen name here as I do there, I find it less confusing at my age.Bob
