    Thumbs up New - Hello!

    Hello,

New here, just beginning to restore a 1965 Chevelle Malibu 4 door hard top sedan. Looking to network, find parts, info, etc.

    Cheers, Bob

From one 4-door slammer to another...welcome.

Some might suggest that sedans are only good for taxis, but hang in there. This is a great community for car guys.

Moved from Nevada for a new job.... sold the 43 Willy's......... now a new project.... I got a really sweet deal. Summary. Grandpa gave it to broke grand daughter, overheated the engine and parked it. There is no rust, it's all original, missing only one headlight trim, gas pedal plastic, and headliner. I got if for $1,500. I put about 2 hours into it only found a bad water pump ($17 for a reman). I got it running and it purrs like a kitten, no smoke nothing. I have sanded it down.....started working out a few scratches and minor dings.... I have an outer rocker panel section (14" long) to cut out and replace, finish sand, and send it off for paint June 10th. I have located all new interior pieces, etc... This will be a fun project.
