Hi from the great Northwest
I met Larry M at Good-guys this last weekend and he encouraged me join up with the Club Hot Rod and I have done so.
Retired and enjoying building cars. I built a frame off 56 Chev for my wife (1600 hrs) and a 40 tudor dlx for myself (2400 hrs) I have done all the metal, paint, upholstery and mechanical. The 40 has a blown 276 flatty. I am in the process of building a 24 tall T cpe. 276 flatty with 200-4R and nine inch rear. Speedway front axle set-up. It will be full fendered, all stock so it is quite a challenge to get the engine set up in the small engine bay. Oh well, love challenges.
Look forward to meeting more of you through the forum.
Later,
Fourdy

Welcome to the forum. You realize Larry M gets a commission for each new member he brings aboard? Actually, it's a chocolate chip cookie, but they are very good chocolate chip cookies.
Sounds like you have some very cool rides in the family.........please post up some pictures, we'd love to see them.

Welcome aboard. Sorry I missed Puyallup this year (first time in almost 20 years), but kinda buried in a project elsewhere. Watch out for Larry, he likes to take incriminating pictures!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Welcome aboard Fourdy! Hey, glad ya made it here.
Ya know there is something I forgot to mention about some of the members in here,,,, ah,,,, ya gotta kinda be careful about some of BS floating around here
Bob, missed seeing you there. It was a great show this year with lots of new paint colors, it also seems like everyone has a blown engine. Guess its time to put a huffer on the "T".
Itoldyouso, heck I need the extra bucks for gas money just to get to the Goodguys show.

Thanks for the welcome.
Thanks for the warning Larry but I have very tall boots so no problem Until I learn how to post pics on here you can take a look at my webshots if you like. The 40 Ford and the T is mine. The blower motor is now in the 40. That blower really wakes up the flatty. The 48' sailboat shown was built by my wife and I from the lines drawings up with 16,000 man/wife hours.
The 37 Dodge was built by my Son. He lives right across the street from me and we share time, labor, tools and an occasional "barley pop" as we call them at good-guys.

Thanks for the welcome
I seem to have some trouble posting as two of my postings have failed to post.
Larry, I have a pair of very tall boots just for this type of situation. LOL
Until I learn how to post up some pics you may be interested in checking out my Webshots site -

My 40 build with 2400 hrs and all work (body work, paint, upholstery, machine work, exc. Boring) done by myself. Blower motor and 24T is posted with lots of pics. The 37 Dodge 392 hemi powered cpe is my Son's. We live just across a dead end road from each other sharing tools, labor, material, shop funds and an occasional "barley pop" as I learned to call it at the -no beer- goodguys.
The 48' sailboat was built by my wife and I with over 16,000 true labor hours starting from the drawings up.
Again thanks for the welcome. I hope to meet more of you on the forum.

I have tried 3 different times to post some new member info here but each time I get a message that says something like maybe a monitor will check my posting and then it never appears.
I'm still trying.
