New guy from Iowa
Hello all, I am new to the Club Hotrod Forums so here is a little bit about me. I am a 54 year old Construction Project Supervisor from North Central Iowa. I have two homebuilt hotrods that I built frame off. 1) A 1948 Studebaker M Series Truck, all Chevy drivetrain. 2) A 1932 Chevy 2 door Sedan. I started driving the Stude back in 1999 and have had the Chevy on the road now for about 3 years now. I drive them all over the place in the summer, Back to the 50's, Goodguys, NSRA and every local cruise night we can. I just recently picked up a 1930 Chevy 3 window coupe and have plans to start this project this winter. This car has no top so it will become a roadster. Can't wait. I tried to attach photos but they are to large for this forum . Is there any other way to do this. My shots are 1MB and the limit is 390KB. Later.Last edited by 32cruisin; 08-04-2008 at 07:26 PM. Welcome to CHR , I found it easier to download them to a photo host site then link it or copy paste it here . I use webshots but plenty out there . I'm sure we would all like to see the cars.

32cruisin, welcome to CHR.
If you have some type of photo software just change the size of your pics(use a copy of your pic) to 800x600 then it should make it somewhere around 100k in size.
Let us know if ya have any trouble and we'll see if we can help get them posted. I think we still have some members using Dial-up connections so we try to keep the pics to a reasonable size.

Welcome to CHR. I just post my photos on Photobucket.com (it's free and easy) and size them there, then just use their quick link to add images on here." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

32cruisin...........Welcome to the site. I use my Adobe Photoshop to change the pics to the lower acceptable size. Do you do any of the Tri-State Cruiser cruise-ins? The next one is in LeMars, at Bob's Drive-in, Wednesday evening, 5.p.m. until whenever. Then next Wednesday, it will at the Ford Dealership in Sibley. You can get the schedule at www.midwestcruisers.comLeo Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the RODS that take your breath away.

Hello again. I have a friend from Orange City that is familiar with Tri State Cruisers. He was at Bob's this week and says the turnout was good. His name is Wayne and he drives a 41 Chevy (blue). Maybe you know him. I would like to try coming over but it is a good 2-3 hrs one way on a work day to boot. We will see. Thanks for the replies, Dennis

Dennis....Don't know Wayne personally, but do know the car. It is nice. He was at the cruise last night. I'm guessing we had something over 100 cars there last night. For some reason the LeMars cruises (3 on the annual schedule) are always the largest. Could be the more central location for the Tri-Staters. How about the "Cruise To The Woods" in October? I'm going to do this one for the first time, joining on the LeMars link. Hear they get 1000+ cars on that one. Ends at the Fort Dodge Fairgrounds.Leo Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the RODS that take your breath away.

Hello again, We do Cruise to the Woods every year. They do draw big numbers. I believe this year is an anniversary for them so I think they have things planned for Fri-Sun this year. Go to www.wccruisers.com for details. Dennis
