    Hello From Connecticut!!!

Hello Everyone! My name is Tom From Brookfield CT. I've been an certified car nut since the age of 15 (now 40!). Had my shares of muscle cars (67' Camaro, 68 Stang, 70 GSX) had a T-BUCKET..or two...I think...can't remember!

Anyway a few years back (2004) A good friend of mine decided to plan out a "CUSTOM" shop, but we never seemed to get past the planning stage due to both of us having kids, mortgages....ect...no big deal....we both know in due time we will be working together under the same roof! My screen name is part of our shop name...."FNA HOTROD SHOP"...Just say FNA a few times and you'll get it!!! LOL

    Ok..enough of the violins!!!

Been a few years since I built a hot rod...and I'll be starting my new project Tomorrow when I pick up a Body and chassis.

My build will begin with a very clean 30 Ford Four Door Sedan. This is going to be simular to a RAT ROD...but since I don't like that name...it will be what I call OLD SCHOOL. No shinny stuff, chopped top, big block, flat paint....ect.

Looking to keep the build under 5K....but we will see!!

Thanks and looking forward to meeting some of you one-on-one!

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

I just did the same thing in regards to starting my own shop as well. Your build sounds great! Welcome..even though I've only been here for a few days..but welcome anyway!!! Happy wrench turning.
    Cheers (insert beer smiley here)
