Another old guy
Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in southern Arizona and I've been fooling around with old cars for longer than I care to admit. Right now, I'm working on a '57 BelAire, a '47 Plymouth Special Deluxe and a new project, it appears to be about a '27-8 Dodge ratrod. I also have a '79 Honda 750 that I am chopping, a '67 VW which I want to do in the "Volksrod" style, and a VW powered '71 Bounty Hunter. In my spare time I like to make custom knives and leatherwork. I know that is all a bit OT but just wanted to get it out as an intro. I really need to retire so I can devote some time to finishing some of these projects.

Welcome to CHR Sundance. You living in the warm climate of Arizona sure gives you time to work on your projects compared to central NY where it doesn't warm up until June.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Welcome to CHR! My nephew (youngin') is building a custom early V-dub. He's just finishing one and getting ready to restore a '55 Porsche 356. Post some pictures of your projects, I'm sure many here would be glad to see them.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
