New guy in New Mexico
Signed up a few weeks a go and decided I had better check in before I get checked out.
We have owned a Street Rod for only a few years but have been involved with cars for over 50 yrs. Always liked Drag Racing and did a lot of that way beck in the 60's and then some in the 70's and 80's. Too darn expensive for me any more, so we bought a 63 Chevy II and started working on it, but we found the 30 Coupe we now own and have the Chevy II for sale. We did not build the Coupe, it was built by a Lawn Mower shop owner in the SE about 11 yrs ago and was sold a couple of times before we bought it. We have done a few things to put our stamp on it and have some more to do. The information and help that is available on this site and a couple of outers is outstanding and appreciated.
We hope to make some friends here.

Never mind, I put the pics in pic file.
This Ford actually has a Ford engine and a C4 with a 9 inch rear. I am a Chevy person but a Ford with a Ford is not a bad thing. Sure gets some conversations started.

Hi
I knew there would be some one on here from this area.
I know the guy with the roadster, but can't remember his name. (gray hair will cause memory loss) and you can probably see Kenny Campbell standing in front of the Coupe. We also know Mike Peckumn pretty well. Made a lot of new friends at some of the shows. If you see us some where stop by.

Welcome to the forum, and a very nice coupe! I talked to a couple of guys at OKC SW Nat's that came up from NM, think there were four that caravaned up, one '34 hiboy looking good in black gelcoat, waiting for paint.
On the pics, I use "Easy Thumbnails" for most posts, and then can send high res files if anyone needs them. Simple to use. http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/

640 x 480 is a perfect fit here and won't stretch the posting window making it hard to read!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
