Newbie from Maine
Hello, I just joined up, cause I have some friends here.
My husband and I have a 36 Ford Roadster, and 53 Chevy Ex firetruck. I have a 33 Dodge 5 window coupe I haven't driven in a few years, it should be redone. We have to projects. I'm trying to decide which on we start this winter. A 46 Dodge truck cab or a 36 Plymouth 2 door sedan. We have been building hot rods together for about 30 years.Does that make me an old fart?
I have been landspeed racing for the last 5 years and hope to find some more salt addicts here. I have raced at Bonneville, Maxton and Loring Maine.
I believe it's better to sound good than to look good and I hope to make a lot of new friends here.
Thanks!!

Welcome Speedy!!! All that stuff sounds good, but ya gotta tell us more about the way kewl cat hangin' out the door of the pickup!!! Curious if he (she) is a race type cat or just the standard watch cat????
I'm a wanna-be on the LSR racing, got a build started, just low on the same two things as always, time and money!!!!!!!
Anyway, welcome to CHR. As to which project to start on this winter, start on both of them!!!! It's what I do, then I always have a ready-made excuse for never getting anything done!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!

Hi Dave,
Tiger is the inspector. whether you make a sandwich or turn a wrench, he is there to make sure you do it right.
That's what I said! Start them both!! But my huband wants the pickup and doesn't want my project in the way. I have a lot of pictures posted on the Hamb board under the name Marcia. I decided not to use my real name here.
Thanks for making me welcome,
Marcia
