hey guys im new to the site
let me tell you a bit about myself. ive been helping my father build streetrods since i was in diapers. ive always been interested in custom rides and will always be. im 25yrs. old and live in md and work as an outside salesman for freightliner and thomas built bus. in my spare time i attend many shows from streetrod to bikes taking pics for www.p-omgarage.com. im also a member of exclusive styles. we are a club thats very well known for our trucks. we have been on the cover of MiniTruckn, Truckin and. StreetTrucks
now for my truck. its an 88 Mazda B2200. i know dont laugh but i love my truck. its far from being stock. the 4cyl. has been beefed up with weber carb, fast fredddy's cam(sponsor), header and ignition. all the sheetmetal has been replaced with 4x4 sheetmetal(fenders, bed, hood), full custom front and rear hydraulic suspension. the rear also has a 4 link. inside of the bed has been shaved smooth. 1 off dash. its got more but dont wanna bore you. when its done it will be done "ratrod"style with whitewalls and steelies. oh and of course jersey suede paint.
i know most of you hotrod guys dislike "minitruckers" because of how some young kids act, but im 25 and i do have respect. we have gotten a bad rep because of kids in high school acting like fools. we all aint bad. we all have one thing in common! we all like custom rides. PLUS i cant afford a streetrod yet!LOL

Welcome to the site. I got no beef with anyone who likes cars and likes to work on them. We each have our own tastes, but we're all hotrodders!
You got a sweet looking ride there, keep up the good work
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Belive it or not, that truck is a real truck, the Ford Courriers ( sorta like ranger but older ), had the same frame and the exzact same engine and everything. The dashpad is the same cause the aftermarket peice which I belive is no longer in production said that it fit the mazda and the Ford. My dad had a 1978 Courrier and, the reverse stripped out a little so it would lung in reverse as it jumped teeth, the shift linkage was so screwed up that he pulled all of the linkage and stuck a crowbar in the hole and shifted it that way ( you had to pull the bar out after every shift ).You don't know what you've got til it's gone
