Hello from MO!
Greetings!
Fellas, all I want is a little bit of info about a manufacturer and his kit! Isn't that allowed here?
I'm a bit miffed. I posted a message here TWICE to the "General Hot Rod Supplier/Builder Information Area" and it seems to have been deleted TWICE without even a nasty gram message back to me or anything!
I'll try again--and if you delete my message again, PLEASE SEND ME A NASTY GRAM SO I AT LEAST KNOW WHY!!!
Here's the content I posted before:
I just discovered this kit manufacturer/builder, located in Glendale, Arizona. When I learned from their web site ( http://www.cobrasnvettes.com/index.html ) that they have a new Cobra roadster kit using the C4 Corvette as the donor I almost fell outta my chair--cause I just happen to have a C4 and I've always thought the C4 chassis would make the ultimate Cobra Replica!
If you have--or if you know of anyone who has--a "Cobras N Vettes" "Cobray", built from either a C3 or their new C4 donor kit, PLEASE tell me everything you know about the vehicle and Cobras N Vettes!!!Great watershed automotive history takes precedence over brand loyalty...that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it! Hi. I'm John. I own an '84 Vette that is just about completely restored to OEM...and still worth next to nothing. Check out my web site--I listed all of the parts I purchased and the sellers' contact info. I did my research and got really good deals, then posted the info for others to use, along with lots of links and how-to guides.
Now I'm thinking about parting-out the stuff I won't need on this vehicle and using it for a donor to build a Cobra kit.
...now will someone talk to me?!

No--I meant to post here--I already posted there. I was looking for non-Cobra opinions. The Cobra-specific crowd tends to shun many Cobra kits/rebodies even though very few replicas actually intend to replicate the original in every detail. I'm looking for more objective folks.

I dont know anything about that kit or the company but I do know that year vett was the uglest Chebby ever made, it couldnt hurt.
To find out what kindda place yer dealing with shoot them an E-mail and ask to tour the factory, you dont have to follow through with the tour you just want the responce, if they say no WE dont allow it go else where, if they say our INSURANCE wont allow it talk some more, if they say Yea no problem about 90% of the time yer dealing with an honest place w/ nothing to hide.
Or you can call the company and ask if they would contact a few of there customers and have the customers contact you (some places will some places wont) If they say we cannt do that its ok but allot of really good companys (At least the one's I've dealt with) will ask you at the time of transaction will ask you if they can contact you latter for Testimony.

mrmustang--
I enjoy helping folks--like posting good, free restoration information on my web site, and compiling and attributing good articles properly. You pointed out that my web site looks suspicious because of that. I know where you're coming from, but I'm really only posting stuff that I think will be helpful to others. I don't make a cent from these web sites--I just enjoy doing it.
What is CC and CHR? Are these photos that I haven't attributed yet? I know I've attributed all of the articles I've gathered and even linked them to their original web sites. You told me before that I had some of your photos on my site too--whick ones are yours? I'd really like to attribute and link them to your gallery or wherever you have them posted.
I wish I could do something about my sites looking suspicious--what do you suggest?
Thanks,
JohnGreat watershed automotive history takes precedence over brand loyalty...that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it! Web site: http://www.C4restore.com
