I have posted a couple of pics, just waiting for a mod to ok them,
the Vauxhall is undergoing a full rebuild at present, I have fully boxed the chassis to cope with the extra hp, also upgraded the brakes to 4 wheel discs, and fitted an lpg tank for the dedicated gas (prophane) I have also had a go at frenching in my tail lamps and a few other custom touches, the car has been rubbed back and is now wearing its first coat of new color, its a violet base and will have some pearl flames added, I recently had a couple of mates go over to the states, where they bought a 1950 F1 delivery fitted with a 392 hemi, they visited lots of hotrod supply shops including Summet, they loaded the back of it up with all sorts of new parts and attemped to do a roadtrip from Ohio to LA, only to have tailshaft or driveline problems with it, enjenjo, from the RRT came to there rescue and haulled them 2800 miles to the shipping yard in LA, the F1 arrived in australia last week and now i have lots of new parts to add to my Vauxhall, including a nice set of guide headlights, new gauges ,shifter and alloy scoop,
I am hoping to have my car back on the street and be out cruising again by mid to late january.

Laugh, Did You Say Laugh ????? Just what in the world is there to laugh at ???
As to your Vauxhall, if they are as cool and as pretty as that one I'll take three. And that Blown 6 banger well son that's just about 6 or 7 degrees beyond cool. Very neat stuff there "Aussie" Maybe you can teach us a thing or two!

Hi Guys,
Well it looks like i have found another home to live in, as the place i am curently renting has been sold at auction a couple of weeks ago, I have been busy cleaning up my shed and finding all the bits i need to put my car back togeather, and also getting all my tools sorted ready for the move, this is how the car looks at present, I moved it out of the shed this morning and hosed the dust of it, When i get to the new house i will wet rub it back and put another coat on it and clear it,
I have lots of photo's of the rebuild, but being new to this forum I don't want to step on anyones toes, Where would be the best spot to post a build thred and add photo's showing the rebuild ?
cheers barnsey.
I am thinking about leaving the firewall red, as the engine is red, would it look too out of place.
