Cool Just another one of the guys

My name is Darren. I live in Chico, Ca. Been into cars since I was old enough to swipe my dad's open ended wrenches. While he was wrenching I'd stuff em in my diaper and run off and hide em'. What a little s#@t I know. And we weren't talking about me, it was what got on em some times. Eww. Now that I grossed you out, I'm sorry. Back to me. I began life as a Mopar fan (don't write me off yet Chevy, Ford folks). Yeah Pentastar! Over the many years I have come to broaden my horizons and became a fan/follower of the whole scene. From the garage scene with buddies wrenching' to the show scene showing'. I enjoy everything from Ground up restos, to Concours Cars, to Drag Racing, to Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Rats, Pretty much everything car and trucks, to one of a kind Customs. Through high school I started playing with trucks a lot. Now that is mainly what I like to build up. That's only because I can't find anyone that wants to let go of their 68' Dart GTS for a deal, lol. Anyways, about three years ago I opened a shop due to too many people wanting my services and the flow was too much for my garage and driveway. Most parts I fabricate and make one off. I tried mail order parts but ultimately I would end up modifying them or scraping em'. Had to start designing and making my own parts. So then that started a whole other venture for myself. Slowly but surly I was starting my own line of parts. Made for the fabricator. And now that's mainly what I do. Build trucks and customs, wrench with friends, travel to shows make more friends, and love cars and the scene as a whole. I have 30wt in my veins I know for sure. As do most of all the "Car Crazies" I meet. I look forward to being an insightful person in your threads and becoming "just another one of the guys".

Welcome - I'm a Chevy guy myself, but appreciate all aspects of the hobby. There are some great guys and gals here with a lot of deep knowledge. We'll look forward to hearing from you.

Pictures of what you're doing are always appreciated as well!

    Merry Christmas!
