New guy waiting on good weather
Hello all.
My names jim and I have been into restoring and rodding since my dad handed me a wrench then told me not to touch "his" car back when I was five.
Well that was 1968 and since then we have restored and built hundreds of cars together.
Since 1978 I have worked in the performance and restoration business so I either know most everybody or gave them money at one time or another... Lol.
We owned an engine shop for many years, then bought a dyno shop.
I restored 50's and 60's muscle cars for about 20 years and created a few crazy street rods in that time as well.
I have designed and engineered headers and custom exhausts for a few major american companies and hundreds of street rodders so if you were at any Goodguys shows in the past five years, you know me already.
I am currently doing my own thing right now as the world I was in wasnt leaving any time to see my kids!!!
I am working on a few projects of my own and plan on being on the other side of the tables at the shows this year.
If I can help anyone in any way just give me a shout.
Many thanks and have a great day.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you will fit right in. Glad to see you have changed priorities, time for the family pays big dividends down the road, for you and for them.

well..... they want to go places in them.......and they think they will be driving them to school when they get older.....
As far as elbow grease?????? they are still a little young.
My youngest does like washing my car.
My oldest who is twelve, did drive my new dodge challenger for me......into the yard....when I was in the house......without my knowledge. Revving the engine up and yelling in delight!!
sigh!!!!
