New old guy here...
Been a couple of years since I've been here and was known then as elbuick37but I am back as bluvelle65! Yep, I traded the '37 Buick for my new bad ass ride '65 Malibu this past December and loving every minute I get behind the wheel! Anyway, just wanted to say howdy as I see alot of you "Old Guys" are still around!

I like it! Welcome back - That Chevy will be a ton of fun and a lot easier to get parts for! I like those old Buicks, but love the sixtys for Chevy's - especially the Chevelles!

Hey Greg, good to hear from you again! The Malibu looks great, whatcha got for a drivetrain in it? Who's the lucky dog who got the Buick?Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks Dave, good to hear from you again!!! The Malibu has a 383 Stroker built by McClure Racing Engines in Dallas, TX. It is chasis dyno'd at 457hp with a shift-kitted 700R4, 3K stall and a B&M shifter and 12-bolt 4:10 rearend gears. The car is dialed in just right and it will throw you back in the seat for sure! First "Small" block I've had since '93 but I'll get over it!
The guy that owns the Buick now lives in Southern Oregon. He put the Chevelle in his trailer and drove it all the way up for me to look at it. I loved the Chevelle, he loved the Buick so we did a straight up title swap right then and there. I would have loved to have taken the 396 that I had just got done going through out of the Buick and stuck it in the Chevelle but the 383 is growing on me!!!

It's awesome, Greg. The paint is very well done and the small block is brutal. I'm up in Everett several time a year - I'll keep an eye out for you (hard to miss) or better yet, I'll give you a shout as I'd love to see the Chevelle up close.
Again, it's a beaut!
