New, from Amsterdam
Hello, my name is Ramon and I'm from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. My daily driver is a '64 Mercury Colony Park with the 390 Super Marauder.
Yes it's parked outside (in the dutch rain) 365 days a year....
I really like to learn more about the car and the engine and there's a lot of great info around here

Welcome aboard Ramon. Nice to see someone using an older car as they were meant to be used.

Welcome Ramon from the lower side of earth, and excellent site you have found. Now I believed everybody rode bicycles over there and that it was too crowded for driving let alone large american cars??? You will have to get your car under some cover as your rain like ours would have alot of salt air in it to help body rust form..I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Do you really drive that monster of a car in Amsterdam, one of my favorite cities in Europe? With all those little cars and so many bicycles? Daily??Dave W

Thanks for the warm welcome guys,
The Merc is my only car with a parking permit, I'm only allowed to have 1 parking permit... I go to work by bicycle so I don't have to drive the Merc every day of the week.
It runs on LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas or propane) so that makes it a bit cheaper.
Here's a foto of the Merc:

Heck Ramon that is one cool car for sure. Where is the LPG tank hidden in the back interior or replacing the original fuel tank underneath?? You will have to give us uneducated folk a lesson on how your parking permits etc work, and how strick is the policies policed please as we don't appreciate what some people have to deal within their own countries compared to ours.
I adore the black and white image photograph of your car too...I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
