New Guy from Ft. Hood
Whats up everyone, names Nick I'm a combat engineer in the army, deployin to iraq here soon just lookin to keep in touch with some people that enjoy the same things I do. I own a 2006 GTO, not much done to it other then a spoiler delete kit, lookin to stroke it to a 402 when I get back home and I figured what better place to try to find discount or cheap parts then this place and it also seems like a place to make some friends too.

Heck that is different..... your wife wanting the computer for Facebook, just tell her her face is lovely as it is or go check in the mirror and leave you to more important things. Oh by the way, it pays to have a sense of humor on here or a very thick skin, just wait until you meet Uncle Bob.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

You can't believe anything those guys from N.Z. tell you.............they're drunk all the time and have an unnatural fondness for farm animals.
Welcome aboard and be careful in the sandpit.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

That kind of puts it mildly, Nick.
Actually, you need a hide like a rhinoceros to put up with the abuse that some of the older members (those members shall remain nameless) can dish out!
Oh Oh. Wait a minute ....... I am one of those older members.
Tell me, does being based at Fort Hood qualify a person to be a Texan?

Welcome aboard Nick; Lots of great folks on here.
I hope you enjoy the site, it's a great place for car lovers.
We have folks on here that can answer just about any car question you can come up with. But I ain't that person, I am still learning and those folks still let me hang around and annoy them. There is no shortage of Vets on here either.
I am a ex Army Sniper from way back in the 80's.
Enjoy the site Kurt
