Another New Guy with an Old Car

Hello everybody! My name's Dan and I'm the owner of a 1936 plymouth four door. Originally it was a hard top but it has been converted into a convertable and now that top will soon be going to the junk yard to be replaced with a removable fiberglass top. Not that I ever drive it when there is a chance of rain... Oh well. I have owned it for about 2 years but haven't really worked on it much till this summer. It has a 350 with a 400 turbo and some other goodies. I'm hoping to learn alot here and possibly make some local connections for car clubs and shows.

Welcome also from us down here. Congratulations on the marriage too and thank you for having those young hotrodders seated and belted in correctly. Your car looks cool without the roof and a ready made family car, love it.

Nice looking car, and welcome to CHR. Yours makes the 3rd '36 Plym on the site---but the only one that's together and running!

Welcome aboard - and even with a nicely done car

Now, as far as driving in the rain - YOU AND YOUR CAR WILL eventually get wet especially from a town who's name starts with Water....

Thanks but I NEVER drive it when there's even a chance of rain. Sure you may get the occasional 30 second sun shower but hell, it's not a show car.
