California Kids
I am a new guy to the internet, but not to cars. I have lived in California and played with cars and motorcycles most of my life. It was time to make room at my shop and continue with my love to build, so two years ago I sold the cars I finished during the previous 15 years,
1964 Cadillac Coupe De Ville with a 472 Caddie motor,
1959 Anglia with a 426 Hemi,
1969 Chevelle with a 396,
1956 DeSoto with a 394 Hemi,
1939 Fiat Areo Sedan with a 289 Ford motor,
1957 Vauxhall Victor with a 283 Chevy motor,
1959 Hillman Minx Convertable with a 327 Chevy motor.
After selling the cars to friends and family, my two sons and I went on the search.
These are the new projects and basic plans we have for them.
1. 58 Chevy Short Bed Stepside with a fuel injected 8.1 liter big block.
2. 60 Austin Healey 3000 with a Chevy 350.
3. 41 Plymouth Coupe with a 340 six pack out of a Plymouth Barracuda.
4. 68 Austin Taxi right hand drive Rat Rod with a Chrysler 440 motor.
5. 51 Studebaker Short Bed going on a 1 ton Dodge chassis.
We will do a complete frame off restoration and do all of mechanical work.
I might even try my hand at painting at least on the Rat Rod.
Well I look forward to the projects and sharing ideas and knowledge. I am sure I will learn many things from all of you.
Let your ideas become reality,
Pat
