    Hi All,

I got the link from another member. Jake is the name and GMC is the game. Although the ride I'm finishing up ('60 GMC) will be 99% pure bone stock with all the options. I've got my heart set on a 1958 GMC stepside, that begs for a the Hot Rod treatment. Which will probaly be a hell of a lot easier than trying to find all the corrects parts for a 1960 GMC wideside with a 305 V-6 with a hydramatic. Lost EVERYTHING (including the dog) in Katrina, had to start all over again. (body was in the paint shop, when the storm hit). Learned my lesson, moved north 42 miles.

When I'm not turning a wrench on my truck, I'm a public water treatment Supt.. and have a side business building custom scale models of all types. My webshots link will show you the build of the truck and the model work I've done.

IF you have questions or would like to see about a model of your ride, drop me a PM.

The ideas on the '58 is a mild build, 350/400 combo, power everything. Probaly Blue and white. Don't know nuttin, but willing to learn. Be gental, I'm a virgin.

Well Hello Jake! Welcome and I know you'll find a great bunch here who loves pictures so thanks for the link, nice stuff in there!

You and I have the water treatment in common, I work as a regional manager for one of the larger contract operations. Sorry to hear that a storm wiped you out! But good to learn that things are better now. Look forward to seeing you around "the place"....

Oh, and that GMC stuff.. Well.. we won't hold that against you! ROFL.. I'm more of the blue oval persuasion myself...

Nice truck, Jake! I've always preferred the look of the GMCs to Chevy's in the 60's. That V6 is definately a conversation piece; not many people running those.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
