Another Southerner
Hello Ladies
Don't know how I found this place but I did. I'm a FORD man but I like anything that's cool and has been built not bought...well my brother's COBRA is cool and he bought it so...nvm.
I got 2 '65 F100s. One I drive. It still has the 352 in it. Runs good but has a bunch of rust issues.
So I bought another '65 for parts. Turns out it's in better shape than the driver so I'm restromodding it....'64 upper valance, '66 grille, '71 power steering and power brakes' '71 429 thunderjet. Will have a '69 rearend and front suspension out of the driver when I get everything else like I want it.

Don't have a shop so I'm at the mercy of the weather. Been a slow process for sure amd I won't do it again till I have a shop.
My dailey driver is a '93 T-Bird and my wife drives an '06 HHR.
Oh darn, no room for the HHR pic. post it later if ya'll interested in it.

Welcome!!!! Couple of nice old Effies you have there!!!! I don't believe there's many of us on here that had a nice shop when we started, just another one of them things that you get along the way!!!! Keep at it! Don't be discouraged just cuz you don't have a nice toy box for your toys, good things come to those who work hard for them!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Been nice here the past week. Got me itching to get dirty. Now if they would go ahead and move the time foreward......
Better order my intake so it will be here by the weekend. Getting a Stealth btw to go with the 750 Edelbrock I got last week. That ought to wake up that 429 a bit.

Yep and if all goes well either late Sat or lunch time Sunday I'll be disturbing the neighbors.
My neighbors don't care though. One next door will be working on yard equipment or his '66 Chevy.

Welcome ole southern boy. Always good to hear from another reb.
Although I am a Chev guy, I do have a nice f150 Ford...I had a 66
Ford pkup looked like yours which I had put a 460 in it, electric seats,
and tilt steering....I used it to clean up a little farm. The cab was perfect,
but the bed had been hit more times than Joe Lewis....I gave it to a guy
to get it out of my way...Wish I had it back.

Thanks for the replies. Taking a lunch break. I got the old intake off. Dissy tried to be stubborn. PB blaster and a rubber mallet broke it loose.
How many feelings you done hurt with that Pinto HOSS429?
I had a '77 four banger I bought off my sister after I totaled my '81 'Stang.
Darn thing wouldn't go over 70 but it take me to any fishin' hole I knew.
It hated my X too. Everytime she drove it it would break down. Never did with me. That car was a good judge of charactor.
