Thanks man. The GT-R is definitely one hell of a car.
I picked up a Old Car Trader today at 7-11 and looked through it for a while. Found a few nice F-bodies and Stangs but I'll keep looking.

belly button car for sale
That's a nice mustang Bill. Too bad there's so many of them huh?
If you want something different like a GM car my son has this Camaro for sale. It has a 350 and 4 speed trans. The engine is very clean (painted yellow) with lots of chrome parts. He wants $2500 for it. I think there may be more of these than Mustangs though but most are V6 powered. It's parked out back for the winter but that's going to be over soon. It's only about an eight hour drive from Long Island. He'll sell it cheaper without the chrome wheels/tires. It came with Gold Z28 wheels.

Thanks for the offer, Al, but no thanks. I'm not a big fan of 80s Camaros. I dont know whether I'm getting another car yet or not but if I do it might turn out to be something totally different then what I have been saying. I really want a early 90s MR2 now, so that might be what I buy.

I don't like them much either Lex. But he won't sell his 67 Camaro or his 79 Z28 cheap. It should sell quick anyway. There aren't many rust free 20 year old cars around here and income tax refunds will be coming in soon.
I hate to see you stuck with a ricer but if we all could drive muscle cars they wouldn't be special.
I guess the MR2 is a nicer ricer than most, at least from the TV ads but the fine print says don't try this at home.
We don't have any rice racers up here unless they're on vacation and I gotta warn ya dude. Drivin one of them will lower your IQ by at least 30 points.

Just because its a Japanese car doesnt make it automatic rice. I drive a 2002 Honda Accord (God help me) right now but I havent done anything to make it ricey. Rice isnt the country of origin, rice is the shopping cart wings, fart cans, body kits and so on.
Sorry to go off like that, I just respect all different cars not only American made. I would love to have a 69 Camaro but I would also love to have a 91 MR2 Turbo.

Nope I'm not happy with my car but my Grandparents said if I got that car they would pay for it so whatever (because they didnt want me to have a Camaro).
Well what do you mean? Sure a stock Supra could beat a stock Grand Prix. But if you mean an American hot rod vs. a modified Jap car of course I would take the hot rod.

MR2's arn't as hoped up as people put them. Yeah there pretty quick but, the engine is unreliable and there not as quick as most people think they are unless, you mod them out heavily which, would make it a ricer. My friend had an 86' MR2 and 130,000 on it when he bought it and he could and did pull over 115 MPH with it and he did not have any mods on it but, 3 months later KABOOM, the engine went at somthing like 140,000 on it. Get a firebird, it's not a Camero but, the same car with a diffrent name and slightly diffrent front and rear end.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Sorry to upset you Lex but I thought all jap cars are referred to as rice. A ricer is a guy who modifies his rice. Most of them are proud to be ricers and don't think it's an insult. If you drive a stock Honda you're not a ricer. If you want to buy the fastest jap car you can find then you are a potential ricer. Sorry but that's the way it be accordin' to me.
If you're going to buy a foreign car I reccomend a Porsche 944 or 924S. Don't get the 924. They look good but have a weak VW engine. It'll make them ricers look like a moped and get good mileage doing it. The best part is they aren't overpriced like the 911 but have the same quality engineering. Most of them are well taken care of.

I would love a 951 (944 Turbo) but I'm not allowed to buy a German car. I dont really want to get into the reasons why, but I just cant.
The MR2 could be unreliable but it could also last you forever it just depends on the person. I know your friend had a bad experience with one but a guy down the block from me has had a late 80s MR2 what seems like forever now. They're fun little cars to whip around corners in, just something different than the regular 1/4 mile for most muscle cars.

Alright just different definitions from different perspectives. I'm not trying to change views but thats not how most people view Japanese cars.
Sorry, I'll start over again. No more talking about foreign cars on this board.
