Welcome Phil, I'm a newbie here too.
It's a great site, I'm more of a lurker than a poster.
They're a friendly bunch, just watch that lamin8r chap.

Hey Phil,I absolutely love it, and it is so different it is cool. Can you remember the black one originally built down in Dunedin that was powered by a Corvair horizontally opposed 6 cylinder. It was also in the ownership of a friend of my and I was lucky enough to do some panelwork on it. It had a early Victor rap around windscreen moulded in as the rear window. Boy that thing could get up and go.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Whiplash, never heard of that one at all. Sounds like a heap of fun.
If I get sick of a lack of power down the track, there is plenty of room between the front rails for a proper engine
Hey Ross. Yip always got an eye on him... he's always after my stash of rice pudding
Thanks for the welcome everyone
When I get round to it i'll chuck up a bit of a build thread.
Cheers

What's with all the bugs in your pic anyway?
How much did Santa have to pay for his sleigh? Nothing! It's on the house! .
